Pritika Kumar

Pritika Kumar is a general legal practitioner with nearly 18 years of experience and the founder of Cornellia Chambers, the boutique practice out of which No Grey was born. Before starting independently in 2016, she worked with premier Indian law firms and lawyers including JSA, Khaitan & Khaitan, Arun Jaitley and Akhil Sibal. She holds an LLM in International Business Laws from University College London and a B.A. LL.B. from The Army Institute of Law, Mohali.

Her practice spans general corporate advisory (FEMA, SEBI, company law, trusts, partnerships, foreign investment, import and export), regulatory and policy advisory, cross-border transactions, venture capital, M&A, foreign contribution, corporate fraud and anti-bribery, constitutional advisory, licensing, leasing, estate planning and taxation. She also appears and argues before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts and Tribunals.

She has advised multinationals, SMEs, governments, non-profits, funds, founders and foreign law firms — among them Morgan Lewis, Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, Shelter Venture Fund, Mayfield, Temasek, the Asian Development Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Infosys, NTT Japan, Exotel, Gupshup, Cisco and the Shriram Group — and has served as retained counsel for Exotel and as India legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity International.

Pritika makes time for pro bono work on humanitarian, development and environmental issues; she recently argued the constitutional rights of the Limboo and Tamang scheduled tribes of Sikkim before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Clients know her for meticulous research, a calm demeanour and negotiation skills. At No Grey she leads the mission to build India's legal service operating system, and hosts the interview series Asking the Right Questions.
